The pedagogy of the body – How it works

Sleeping on your back is a common cause of snoring First observed by the sleeper’s bed partner, this phenomenon has become a well-known issue among scientists.

The positional therapy is one of the measures recommended to fight against snoring and obstructive sleep apnea It proved its effectiveness on obstructive sleep apnea by reducing the apnea – hypopnea index; i.e. the number of pauses in breathing, by at least 10 seconds. The sleep is more refreshing leading to reduced daytime drowsiness and a better quality of life.

The methods which are usually used in positional therapy (rucksacks, tennis ball on your back, body pillows) are usually uncomfortable and can even cause pain and skin irritations. People are likely to stop using them quickly. That is why SIMP ORTHO SOLUTIONS has conceived a patented comfortable medical device whose effectiveness has been clinically proven: Ronfless

Ronfless® is an anti-snoring belt provided with a semi-rigid back part, the OMEGA, making supine position uncomfortable. The shape and density of the Omega have been carefully designed so that the belt should remain comfortable whether you sleep on your side or on your stomach.

The anti-snoring, anti-apnea Ronfless is lightweight and comfortable and can easily be forgotten during the night. It fits comfortably and stores away easily and can be carried in your luggage while on holiday…. Wearing Ronfless® is not definitive: once you’ve learnt not to sleep on your back you won’t need your anti-snoring belt any longer!
